Hi, I’m Lottie—founder of Shelfaware, devoted fiction romantic, wax melt obsessed, and book nook curator. Before I started this cosy little business, I was an English teacher for nine years, sharing my love of literature with anyone who’d listen (and even those who didn’t). Stories have always been my first love, especially the ones with dragons and magical realms. At Shelfaware, we believe in the power of storytelling and the ability of scents to transport us to different worlds. Our unique wax melt bars are designed and created by myself and Pete (the other half of this little venture!) Inspired by classic literature and all things romance, they are meticulously crafted to evoke the essence of beloved literary works. From the haunting scents of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven" to the cosy aromas of Oscar Wilde's musings on autumn, to the magical fantasy worlds that captivate us, our products offer an enchanting sensory experience that combines literary nostalgia with the comfort of home.

We believe in the magic of slow reading, pretty shelves, and stealing quiet moments with a book and a cup of something warm. My TBR is chaotic, my wax melts are always lit, and if there’s only one bed at the inn, you know I’m reading it.
