Macbeth | When Shall We Three Meet Again | Wax Melt Bar

When shall we three meet again? In thunder lightning or in rain? When the hurly burly's done, when the battle's lost and won The Three Witches – Shakespeare's Macbeth

Act One Scene One [Thunder and lightning; three witches enter.]

Step into the stormy world of Macbeth with this atmospheric and eerie wax melt bar. Inspired by the witches’ haunting opening lines, this bar captures the raw intensity of the supernatural with a design that mirrors the wild, unpredictable weather of thunder, lightning, and rain. Hand-poured using a luxurious blend of rapeseed and coconut wax, this wax melt bar features the witches’ famous dialogue splayed across its surface in bold, unsettling text.

As the storm rages outside, this wax melt bar brings the eerie power of the witches’ foreboding words into your space. It evokes the mysterious, unsettling atmosphere of the moors, where the air crackles with magic and danger, and every rumble of thunder feels like a call to destiny. Whether you're a fan of Shakespeare's dark tragedy or simply drawn to the macabre, this wax melt sets the stage for a haunting, atmospheric experience.

Perfect for lovers of Shakespeare, dark academia, and anyone who appreciates the atmospheric tension of the storm before the tragedy begins. This wax melt bar invites you to embrace the mystery and magic of Macbeth’s opening scene, where fate is decided under a sky full of thunder, lightning, and rain.

Lottie's Lit

Lottie's literary thoughts about this product

In Act One, Scene One of Macbeth, the three witches speak in riddles and paradoxes, such as “Fair is foul, and foul is fair,” which highlights the theme of confusion between good and evil. Their cryptic language foreshadows the moral ambiguity and chaos that will unfold in the play. The witches’ paradoxical speech suggests that appearances can be deceptive, and their mysterious words hint at the events and conflicts to come, particularly Macbeth's struggle with fate and ambition. This confusing way of speaking sets the tone for the supernatural influence that will drive much of the action.

We wanted to recreate the tempestuous moors and Shakespeare's use of Pathetic Fallacy (what a great term! See our Literary Terms glossary) and bring it to you in wax melt bar form. So here it is. With stormy, sulky blues and glimmers of silvery, shimmery thunder and rain, you are instantly transported to where the chaos and mayhem begins.

Too charming to melt? We thought so too, so why not enhance your order with a jute pouch of our botanical wax melts removing all guilt of melting your pretty ones too soon.

Don't forget to add a display stand to show off your bar while enjoying the scent for up to two weeks.
